For our next concert, Dearest Heart, in which we perform the Little Match Girl Passion, Elus Vocal Ensemble was partnered with Dry Bones Denver to help support them in their mission. Dry Bones is a long-standing community of support among Denver’s unhoused teens and young adults. Dry Bones has the simple but radical belief that companionship itself can be profoundly transformative. So, alongside helping to meet emotional, spiritual, and physical needs, Dry Bones’ true work is in building ongoing relationships that remind the invisible among us of their immeasurable worth. This year, our Elus Vocal Ensemble will be partnering with Park Church to collect new and lightly used winter clothing to help care for those in our city who are in need of warmer winter clothes. This includes socks, gloves, hats, and jackets. Please bring them to the concert and be entered to win one of two fun prizes from Elus for your participation. Park Church will be distributing these to the community as needed after the concert.
